For nearly four decades, Jakino & Ash PA, has been a trusted advisor to individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities throughout the Four Corners Region. Founded in 1986 by Michael Jakino and Thomas Solga as Solga & Jakino, P.A., the firm was built on a simple philosophy: deliver exceptional technical expertise, provide personalized service, and build the lasting relationships clients deserve.

Continuing a Legacy of Excellence
In 2007, Brandon Jakino joined the firm after an accomplished career with Ernst & Young in Dallas, Texas, where he spent eight years advancing to the position of senior audit manager.
During his tenure at one of the world’s largest public accounting firms, Brandon served clients across a broad range of industries, developing extensive expertise in auditing, financial reporting, and business consulting.
Before returning to public accounting, he also served as the chief financial officer of a publicly traded company headquartered in London, England, providing executive leadership in finance, strategic planning, and operational management.
Brandon’s experience as both a public accountant and corporate executive enables him to provide clients with practical, business-focused solutions that extend well beyond traditional accounting services.
A New Generation of Leadership
Joshua Ash joined the firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2020. He brings outstanding tax knowledge and technical expertise to the firm, advising clients on complex tax, accounting, and financial reporting matters.
Josh supervises many of the firm’s review and compilation engagements and plays a key role in planning, managing, and completing some of its most technically complex engagements.
His analytical approach, attention to detail, and commitment to client service have made him a trusted advisor to businesses and individuals throughout the region.

In 2026, Brandon Jakino and Joshua Ash assumed ownership of the practice and introduced the firm’s new name, Jakino & Ash PA. While the name reflects a new generation of leadership, the firm’s commitment to excellence remains unchanged. Today, the firm continues the tradition established in 1986—providing responsive, relationship-driven service backed by the technical expertise and experience clients expect from a leading regional CPA firm.
